Dear Educators:
Thank you for visiting our Program Web site and for your interest in the UT Health Science Center 5th grade growth and development curriculum, “Growing with Confidence”. The curriculum can be downloaded at no charge. For successful implementation, please note the following essential additional components:

1. Growing with Confidence Lesson One requires the DVD “Just Around the Corner” produced by Marsh Media. There is one DVD (or VHS) for boys and one for girls. These can be purchased by going to www.marshmedia.com and conducting a “search products” for items numbered 9224in and 9225in.
2. Parental permission is required before instruction of human sexuality (Texas Education Code 28.004(i) ). A sample parent permission form is included for your use. If you have additional questions, or if we can be of help to you in any way, please do not hesitate to call us at 210-567-7036.
